The Wizarding School Week runs from the 30th of July to the 3rd of August
What Will The Week Involve?
Fun, Friends, Play, Arts and Crafts, Performance Skills and Magic!
From Monday to Wednesday, you will take part in a range of different workshops in groups of your own age, all inspired by JK Rowling’ s Harry Potter books. After signing in, your group will have time each morning and afternoon with the Professors and their helpers.
Workshops will include Potter themed drama, dance and artwork. You’ll learn magic's greatest secrets, discover how to cast spectacular spells and perfect the power of potions. You can dream up your own scenes in Improvisation and Script work, and try out some Physical Theatre and Choreography at Quidditch. In Theatrical set dressing and Prop making, you’ll get the chance to make flying snitches, keys, broomsticks and wands. Oh and you’ll be exploring the Magical Wood outside for the Horcrux Hunt!
There’s a break mid morning and afternoon and for lunch too.
On Wednesday afternoon, the Sorting Hat will help us to place everyone in their House groups. On Thursday and Friday, you will be preparing for the Great Hall Showcase. Your parents will be invited in on Friday afternoon to see it!
